The last gaming day was a great success; a few more coworkers showed up this time, my buddy Dave came down from Pasadena and stayed overnight, and we went out for sushi after the games. It was a really good time. We played the usual games (Apples to Apples, Outburst and a few rounds of Set).

Dave brought a copy of Bohnanza, a weird but fun little game about managing some bean fields. One of my coworkers brought over a few games I’d never seen before; next time, we’ll make sure to hit them, as they seemed really cool and strange.

I’ll most likely have another gaming afternoon in late March (either the 20nd or the 27th). As before, any and all of the local LJ folk are welcome to attend; carpooling might even happen from Tucson / Phoenix, and it will almost certainly happen from Los Angeles and Pasadena. I’lll try to post more detail as it gels.

And speaking of group activities, the next Rosarito-to-Ensenada bike ride is happening on April 17th. Dave and I are definitely interested in doing it again; we had a blast last time. Anyone else interested?
